Soundtrace announced today that Dr. Christi Haynes has joined the company as Director of Audiology. In this role, Dr. Haynes will lead audiology operations across the Soundtrace platform, including audiogram review workflows, standard threshold shift determinations, and the clinical quality standards behind every test run on Soundtrace equipment.

Dr. Haynes comes to Soundtrace from Shoebox, where she had been since 2019. Over those years she worked at the center of one of the most widely deployed audiometric testing platforms in occupational health, giving her a rare depth of experience in how boothless testing performs at scale across real industrial workforces.

Christi has spent years solving the exact problems our customers care about: accurate testing outside the booth, defensible records, and clinical review that keeps pace with modern operations. Bringing her onto our clinical leadership team makes every program we run stronger.

Strengthening physician-led supervision

Soundtrace is built around physician-led clinical supervision, headed by Dr. Subinoy Das, a board-certified otolaryngologist and the company's Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Haynes adds a dedicated audiology leadership layer to that model. Together they oversee the clinical review pipeline that sits behind Soundtrace's audiometric testing, from baseline audiograms through STS review and physician referral.

For customers, the practical impact is straightforward: every audiogram collected through Soundtrace is backed by a clinical team that now includes a Director of Audiology with deep occupational testing experience and a Chief Medical Officer with decades of clinical practice.
