How can I test outside of a sound booth?

Our audiometer uses a calibrated, built-in microphone to continuously monitor ambient noise against ANSI/ASA S3.1 limits during testing. If noise exceeds allowable levels, the test automatically pauses to prevent masking and ensure regulatory and clinical validity—without a sound booth.

Is Soundtrace compliant with OSHA?

Yes. Soundtrace’s audiometer and noise dosimeter comply with OSHA and ANSI requirements under OSHA 1910.95. Our platform, training, and audiology oversight have also been independently reviewed for alignment with the 1910.95 regulation by Scott Ketcham, former OSHA.

Is Soundtrace's cloud system HIPAA compliant?

Can historical audiograms be uploaded into your system? What about rosters?

Yes. As part of the onboarding process, we will convert all historical audiograms into a digital format and store them within each employee's profile. We also upload your rosters and offer over 40 HRIS integrations.
