What is an OHC?
Occupational Hearing Conservationist
An OHC is an Occupational Hearing Conservationist — a person trained and certified to perform audiometric testing under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.95 and to support a workplace hearing conservation program. CAOHC is the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation, the nationally recognized body that issues OHC certification through approved courses and re-certification every five years.
At Soundtrace, your account executive is a CAOHC-certified OHC. The same person who answers your technical questions and reviews your program is the one you'd work with day-to-day — so a 30-minute call with one is closer to a free consult with a hearing conservation professional than it is to a software demo.
